摘要
含铁绿柱石经γ射线辐照或特定温度热处理,可因铁价态的改变引起颜色发生相应变化。处理前后的吸收光谱和顺磁共振谱研究表明,辐照作用使隧道位的Fe2+ 氧化为Fe3+ ,八面体位上的Fe3+ 还原为Fe2+ ,热处理使隧道位及八面体位Fe3+ 均还原为Fe2+ 。
The color of iron containing beryl can be changed by γ rays irradiation or heating. The polarized absorption spectra and Electron Spin Resonance spectra ,before and after enhancement, showed that γ rays irradiation caused the oxidization of channel Fe 2+ into Fe 3+ and the reduction of octahedral Fe 3+ into Fe 2+ .The Fe 3+ at octahedral and channel sites was reduced to Fe 2+ by heating. The color variations of beryl by heating and irradiation were resulted from the valence change of iron ions.
