摘要
本文首先证明了样条尺度函数满足M(M为大于等于2的自然数)进制尺度方程,然后构造出了一类新的相应的多进制样条小波。构造方法简单灵活,且可根据需要构造具有高阶的消失矩、对称性、反对称性、光滑性、短支集等优良性质的小波,这些对信号处理是非常重要的。最后,将构造出的小波应用于图象的压缩,与一些常用的小波(如Daubechies小波、biorthogonal小波等)相比,具有更好的计算性能和压缩性能。
This paper proposes a new method for constructing M-band spline wavelets.These wavelets not only have more freedom in the design than scalar wavelets,but also simultaneously possess many desired properties such as short support,high vanishing moment,symmetry,regularity and orthogonality.Finally,the spline wavelets are applied for image compression.The wavelets show the advantages of computation and compression compared with some frequently used wavelets such as Daubechies,Meyer and biorthogonal wavelets.
