摘要
经过对安徽萧县地区本溪组、太原组地层进行的实测和研究,采得植物化石12属19种。该植物群以石松纲最为繁盛,占植物群种数的36.8%;其次为种子蕨纲,占31.6.%;楔叶纲植物位居第三,占15.8%;真蕨纲位居第四,占10.5%;最后为科达纲,占5.3%。其总体面貌属于华夏植物群。通过与国内外同期植物群对比分析,判定本区植物群地质时代可能为晚石炭世。
The fossil plants depicted in the text were collected from Benxi Formation and Taiyuan Formations in Xiaoxian area in Anhui Province. There were 19 species of 12 genera. The flora was composed mainly of Lycopsida (occupying 36.8%), Pterdospermopsida (31.6%), Sphenopsida (15.8%), Filicopsida (10.5%), and Cordaitopsida (5.3%). Based on the fossil characters and comparison with the contemporary floras, the present flora belonged to the Cathaysian flora in nature, and probably aged in Late Carboniferous Epoch.
