Effects of Tungsten Content on the Structure of Ni W Alloy Coating

摘要 The effect of tungsten content on the structure of Ni W coating has been studied by XRD and SEM techniques. It is found that the increase of W content in alloy coating results in the increase of crystal lattice distortion which is the main factor in formation of amorphous structure of the coating. With the tungsten content greater than 44% an amorphous structure consisted of long range disorder and short range order has been observed.
