摘要
李劼人在不同时期谈起文学,多例举清末民初文学的例子。他在晚清报馆的文学历练,符合清末民初以报人为主体的中国第一代专业小说家应运而生的现实情形,这表明了一种并非是在中国新文学内部发生的,而更多是与清末民初文学实践的关联。并且,由这一关联及其延续带来的李劼人作品面貌的整体取向与底色,使其在地域历史的文学书写上,有着异乎寻常的宽广性与人文性,最终成就了中国现代文学史上一种个性与边缘的文学选择。
Li Jie-ren always gave literature examples from late Qing Dynasty and the Early Republic of China when talking of literature in different periods.His rise from newspaper office of Late Qing Dynasty took the road of the first generation Chinese professional novelists who mainly consisted of newsmen.This indicates new literature of China did not grow from the inside but closely related to the literature practice at that time.And this connection set the tone and orientation of Li Jie-ren＇s works,which contributed exceptional width and humanity to his regional history writing and finally formed his personality and marginal literature taste in modern Chinese literature history.
