摘要
教书育人、知识创新、社会服务、引领社会文化和社会批判是大学在新时期应该承担的社会责任。大学要承担起这些责任,必须选择恰当的途径和方式来实现。鉴于自身的特质和功能,大学所承担的社会责任是有限的,不同层次和类别的大学所承担的责任各异,履行责任的方式也多种多样。
In the new period,the universities should take responsibilities of teaching,knowledge innovation,social service,orienting social culture and social criticism.So appropriate ways need to be chosen by the universities to take these responsibilities.Owing to the characteristics and functions of universities,the social responsibilities taken by university are limited.Universities of different rank and classifications have different responsibilities,and there are a great variety of ways to fulfill their obligations.
