《金瓶梅》以大胆露骨的欲望叙事呈现一部性文化大餐,属意教化功能或审美品格,形成文本接受的淫书说和非淫书说二水分流之势,《金瓶梅》的三大评点前后接续,竭力为小说题旨辩解,体认性文字的存在价值,追溯其复杂的社会原因,真实反映了"非淫书"说穿越时空的艺术魅力,它们一道建构了厚重的《金瓶梅》文本接受大厦,推动了《金瓶梅》的经典化进程。
The Golden Lotus, demonstrating a sexually cultural feast with boldly and baldly lust narrative, has divided the critics into two groups pornographic or non-pornographic theories during the textual reception due to its moralized function and aesthetic quality. The three great commentaries to The Golden Lotus, succeeding to each other, had made great effort to justify the theme, by recognizing the existing value of the sexual words, tracing its complicated social reasons, and truly showing its artistic charm throughout all time as a non-pornographic novel. All these together have built a heavy structure for the reception of the text and propelled the classicism of The Golden Lotus forward.
