摘要
本文从社会语言学的角度来研究中国英语教学,分析了社会语言学与外语教学的关系并指出了它对外语教学的启示:要求外语教师和外语教学设计者不仅要看到所教授的语言本身,还要看到与语言相关的社会因素。在教学过程中重视交际能力,重视社会文化,重视语篇教学和语境教学。
This paper studies English Teaching in China from the perspective of sociolinguistics.It analyses the relation between sociolinguistics and language teaching and points out its enlightenment upon language teaching.It requires that language teachers and teaching designers should pay much attention to the language itself and its related social factors as well.The author demands that we should attach importance to the communicative competence and social culture,emphasize the discourse and contextual teaching.
