摘要
莎士比亚是文艺复兴时期伟大的英国戏剧家。本文通过列举莎剧中对人性的美好、人性的弱点和人性的丑恶所做的全景式观照,分析莎士比亚关于人性的探究对后世作家的深远影响,力图证明莎士比亚在西方文学发展史上完成了一个人文主义作家的使命和职责。
Shakespeare was the greatest English dramatist in the Renaissance.By listing the panoramic observation to the beauty,weakness and ugliness of humanity in the plays of Shakespeare,this thesis analyses the deep and wide influence of Shakespeare ＇s probe into humanity on the authors of later ages,and tries to prove that Shakespeare has fulfilled a humanism author＇s mission and duty in the history of western literature.
