摘要
场离子显示屏(FieldIonDisplay,缩写为FID),是一种既能够克服场发射显示屏(FED)存在的困难,实现阴极射线显象管(CRT)平板化,又能保持CRT优良图像质量的新型彩色平板显示屏。本文先介绍场离子发射的原理,然后介绍FID的结构及工作原理。
Field Ion Display (FID) is a novel colour flat panel display, which can conquer the difficulties of Field Emission Display (FED), put the flat panelization of the CRT into practice and conserve the high qualify of the image of CRT. This paper introduces the principles of field ion emission at first, and then explains the construction and work principles of FID.
