摘要
新移民作家严歌苓非常善于挖掘人物在特定环境下暴露出的迥异于平常的行为和心理,移民、"文革"、乡下进城即是她给笔下人物寻找的特定环境。在这样的"非常环境"下,无论是移民,还是文革中的知青,抑或是进城谋生的乡下人,都遭遇到强大的冲击,产生种种错位和反常,找不到自己的"身份"。
New migrant writer Yan geling was proficient in expounding a figure＇s unusual behaviour and mentality revealed in those particular circumstances,which refers to culture revolution period and migrant and urban movement.She menticulously chose these backgrounds for her characters on paper.In these particular circumstances,migrants,educated youth in the culture revolution period,and those countrymen seaking life in cities all had suffered intense shock.They experienced mental displacement and abnormality,even could not find their own identities.
