摘要
本文分析高校图书馆"多复本"图书馆藏模式的历史成因,论述现阶段"多复本"馆藏模式导致图书馆库存容量危机、重复购置、经费倍增和浪费人力等,指出应该适时将"多复本"馆藏模式向"单复本"馆藏模式转变。
The author traces back to the origin of the ＂multiple copy＂ collection model in university library practice and points out that this collection model could cause a series of issues in modern library,including storage capacity issues,repeating acquisitions,cost dramatically increased,and waste of labor.It is suggested that multiple copy collection model should be replaced by single copy collection model in current library collection practice.
