Synthesis of novel bisphenol-A derivative——1,1-bi(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1-phenylethane

摘要 以苯乙酮和苯酚为反应物,硫酸和硫代乙醇酸作催化剂,合成了标题化合物,通过红外光谱分析、1HNMR和13CNMR确定了化合物的结构。通过单因素试验和正交试验,研究了苯乙酮与苯酚物质的量比、硫酸浓度、硫代乙醇酸用量、反应温度和反应时间等主要因素对合成产率的影响,实验结果表明,当苯乙酮与苯酚的物质的量比为1∶3,硫酸浓度为76%,硫代乙醇酸用量为2.20 g/(mol苯乙酮),反应温度为55℃,反应时间为24 h时,达到最大产率70%。该新型双酚A衍生物可用于聚碳酸酯、聚芳酯、环氧树脂、聚醚醚酮等聚合物合成的改性单体。 The novel bisphenol-A derivative 1,1-bi(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1-phenylethane was synthesized from acetophenone and phenol using sulfuric acid/thioglycolic acid as catalysts.The compound was characterized by IR,1HNMR and 13CNMR.The effects of major factors on the yield of target product were discussed and studied by single factor experiments and orthogonal experiments,such as the molar ratio of acetophenone/phenol,the concentration of sulfuric acid,the amount of thioglycolic acid,the reaction temperature,and the reaction time.The optimum synthesis conditions were as follows:the acetophenone/phenol molar ratio was 1:3,the concentration of sulfuric acid was 76%,the amount of thioglycolic acid was 2.20 g/(mol of acetophenone),the reaction temperature was 55 ℃ and the reaction time was 24 h.Under these conditions,the product yield reached up to 70%.It can be used as the modified monomer for the synthesis of polycarbonate,polyarylate,ethoxyline resin and polyether-ether-ketone.
