摘要
在当今的工业计算机应用中，产品信息的通讯、交换和共享存在严重问题，国际标准化组织ＩＳＯ为了解决这个问题，开发了国际产品数据交换标准ＳＴＥＰ。本文简述了ＳＴＥＰ的内容及其在建筑业中的发展。
The problem existing in the communication, exchanging and sharing of product information is serious in current computer use of industry. In order to deal with this problem, International Standard Organization has worked for STEP ( Standard for the Exchange of Product model data ) since 1984 . This paper makes a brief description of STEP and the development in building industry, and specifies the Application Protocol 225 : Building elements using explicit shape representation.
