摘要
This thesis focuses on analyzing Eunice's de- formed character in Freud's theory. Growing up in an environ- ment lack of warmth and being illiterate, Eunice fails to form a healthy personality. Her id surpasses her ego; her repressed libido makes her do things by urge. At last, her id loses of control and she kills the whole family on St. Valentine's Day.
