摘要
中国瑶族传承久远的"跳盘王",是瑶族社会怀念祖先盘瓠的仪式活动。研究侧重考察瑶族盘王崇拜的源流,分析瑶族跳盘王仪式的宗教功能,对瑶族宗教盘王崇拜的文化特质作出新的阐释。认为瑶族宗教的盘王崇拜具有多重涵义,它不仅通过长鼓舞踏歌祭祀的仪式来表达对祖先神盘瓠的追思,更是对瑶人祖先归属于华夏文化的肯定。瑶族社会中的盘王崇拜源远流长,是中华民族多元一体格局塑模影响的结果。
＂Dancing to honor King Pan＂,an ancient heritage of Chinese Yao Ethnic Group,is a ritual activity in the Yao society to worship their ancestor Panhu.This paper focuses on the origin of the Yao people＇s worship of King Pan,analyzes the religious function of their ritual ＂Dancing to honor King Pan＂,and gives a new interpretation to the cultural characteristics of such worship.The author maintains that the Yao people＇s religious worship of King Pan is of multiple significances.By such rituals as dancing long drum dance,singing and offering sacrifices,the celebration does not only express the Yao people＇s remembrance of their ancestor Panhu,but also confirms the Yao ancestors as part of Chinese culture.The worship of King Pan in the Yao society has a long history,which results from the integration of different ethnic groups in China.
