Abstract In this paper,using input output techniques,the author established a impact method to analysis the relationship among technical structural changes,final demand structural changs and energy requirement.The China's energy economy input output tables of 18 sectors for 1987 and 1992 were used as case studies.This method exectly revealed the relationship between economic structure changes and energy requirement.
