摘要
在当代新儒家中,唐君毅强调哲学以"成教"为目的,凸显文化意识与价值安排,他运用感通原则作为动态根据,申论心灵境界以及价值安顿中的生命阶序。唐君毅自觉地以主体哲学为主题,此种主体同时涉及超越作用,在各种境界中升降流转。本文尝试分析主体与他人的关系,阐明道德责任的关键,藉由唐君毅与列维纳斯的比较,探索主体哲学与主体之位如何作为责任承担的基础;也比较唐氏与列氏的思想背景差异,说明当代儒家哲学的独特性;此比较一方面指出哲学与教化之间的张力与融通,另一方面也开启跨文化对话的契机。
Of modern Neo-Confucians,Tang Junyi insists that philosophy cultivates people,and puts an emphasis on cultural awareness and value arrangement.He appeals to the dynamical principle of affective communion in his explanation of 'spiritual horizons' and 'vital levels' in value arrangement.The philosophy of subjectivity,of which Tang is consciously aware,is so thematized that the transcendence of the subject renders possible movements(either upwards or downwards) among various 'spiritual horizons'.This paper tries to analyze the relation between the subject and the other,and to explain the key of moral responsibility.By comparing the thoughts of Tang and Levinas,this paper explores how the philosophy of subjectivity and the place of subject can serve as the basis of bearing responsibility.This paper also makes clear the difference between Tang and Levinas,in order to illustrate the significance of contemporary Confucian philosophy.Such a comparison reveals both the tension and communication between philosophy and cultivation,thus opening up a channel for cross-cultural dialogues.
