摘要
曹组字彦章,后改字元宠,颍昌人。少游庠校有名声,六举未第,著《铁砚篇》自励。宣和三年,命题作赋,曹组援笔立就,文不加点,深得古风。徽宗特命就殿试,中五甲,赐同进士出身,并在玉华阁亲自召见,赐书日:"曹组,文章之士"。任睿思殿待制,官至阁门宣赞舍人。曹组是北宋末年非常著名的俚俗歌词作者。据王灼《碧鸡漫志》记载,曹组每创作一篇歌词,便人人传写,广为传颂。一直到南渡初年,曹组歌词仍然是词坛上追捧的对象,是少年学习填词的榜样。曹组词题材上主要涉及三个方面:歌妓、羁旅、宫廷。其词风以"滑稽无赖"著称。曹组词集已遭毁版之灾,今存作品,皆出自南宋人选本,故多数都是上乘精品。
Cao Zu was born in Ying Chang. He went to school when he was young and gained good reputation. But he failed to pass the imperial exams at the provincial level in old China. With the order of Emperor Hui Zong he took the imperial examination again and took imperial office. Cao Zu was a sarcastic poet in the late North Song Dynasty and hisCollection of Writings at Biji House （ Bi Ji Man Zhi） was widely read. His style is humorous and mischievous.
