摘要
以王艮、何心隐、李贽等人为代表的泰州学派学者通过对"心"(天理、良知)的自觉改造,逐渐把心中之理的内容由封建伦理道德准则改造成人的自然生活、感性欲望,进而对道德理性与感性欲望的关系、个体与群体的关系问题作出了不同于正统理学理欲观的回答。他们肯定欲的天然合理性,反对天理对人欲的绝对限制,肯定个体的价值,提倡自我意识和人格尊严,初步提出打破封建等级区分的平等要求,反映了当时先进知识分子对旧的社会秩序和传统道德的反思,形成了具有启蒙意义的理欲观。
Scholars of Taizhou School,represented by Wang Gen,He Xin-yin,Li Zhi,etc.have self-consciously made transformation of the concept of "mind",which specially refers to the sense of heavenly principles and conscience.They change the content of the mind from feudal ethical and moral principle to the one suit to human natural life,perceptual desire and further answer the problem concerning relation between moral reason and perceptual desire,between individual and group,which is different from orthodox outlook of reason and desire of the Confucian school of idealist philosophy.They approve that it is the course of nature for desire to exist,and oppose the utter restrain on human desire laid by the heavenly principle.They approve the value of individual and advocate individual self-awareness and dignity.They initially propose equality to break the feudal class differentiation,which reflects the progressive thinking of the intellectuals on the old social order and traditional moral,and which forms new outlook of reason and desire with a sense of enlightenment.
