摘要
在窄脉冲准分子激光放大过程中,输出脉冲会因自发辐射而展宽,导致信号对比度下降。为抑制自发辐射,保持输出信号对比度,可采用电光开关将展宽部分削去。实验中采用透紫外的偏光元件、低抖动的高压脉冲电源和精密的同步调节器,设计制作了紫外波段的电光开关。半峰全宽(FWHM)为7.3ns的XeCl准分子激光脉冲被削窄到1.13~4.01ns,能量对比度达到462.6,幅值对比度达到770.7,能量效率达到34.7%。该结果表明,利用电光开关削波来抑制自发辐射导致的脉冲展宽是可行的。
In short-pulse amplification process of eximer lasers,output-pulse width can be broadened by spontaneous emission,which degrades the signal contrast ratio.In order to depress the spontaneous emission and maintain the output-signal contrast ratio,electro-optical switches can be used to clip the broadening part.In the experiment,ultraviolet transparent polarizing components,low-jitter high-voltage pulse power and high accurate synchronizer are used to design an electro-optical switch.7.3 ns XeCl excimer laser pulse can be clipped to 1.13~4.01 ns,with energy contrast ratio 462.6,amplitude contrast ratio 770.7 and energy efficiency 34.7%.The results indicate that it is feasible to depress the pulse broadening induced by spontaneous radiation using electro-optical switch.
