马克.吐温通过方言写作传统中的英美讽刺性对比,确立了美国的民族身份,以方言写作的朴素文体隐藏了美国的扩张政治,规避了种族主义和殖民主义的嫌疑,构建了美国在国际化视野下的"天真"姿态。马克.吐温方言幽默文体是民族主义和后殖民主义的完美体现。
From the contemporary Marxist theory of criticism,this paper comments on the vernacular humor works of art of Mark Twain.Twain is committed to the manifestation of national and post-colonial ideology of vernacular humor.The ironical contrasts between Britain and America help to establish the national identity of America through Twain＇s vernacular writing.It conceals America＇s expansionist politics and eludes the suspicion of racialism and colonialism,constructing the international ＂innocent＂ posture of America.The vernacular humor style is the perfect expression of nationalism and post-colonialism.
