摘要
利用BiblioFile的USMARC建立西文期刊联合目录数据库是图书情报机构采用的一种有效的方法。本文就西文期刊数据的USMARC与CNMARC格式间的转换问题进行了深入的探讨，并通过实践证明了这种格式转换的方法迅速且行之有效，数据准确达到了要求。该问题的解决具有一定的实际意义。
It is an effective way to set up the union catalogue database for western periodicals by using USMARC from bibliofile. The format transforming USMARC to CNMARC of western periodicals data is further studied, and the method has been proved rapidly and efficiently, with accurate data. This solution is of practical significance.
