F. Scott Fitzgerald is a great writer in the history of literature of the 20th century. There has been general agreement in the western literary critical world that he is the outstanding spokesman of the＂Lost Generation＂, the＂poet laureate＂of the＂Jazz Age＂, and an excelled＂historiographer＂as a great writer. Though Benjamin＇s fantastic life in the novel The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, this paper analyses the author＇s consciousness of time, views of love and life, and the social context.
