摘要
城市建设的发展和交通流量的大幅提高，迫切要求对交通控制和监督功能逐步实现自动化，而计算机图象处理技术是实现这一目标的重要手段之一，本文旨在设计一个图象处理算法，对机动车辆进行检测并估算其车速。
The large increase in traffic density along with development in city construction has required the automation of some function of traffic control and monitoring. Research on image processing applied to automatic traffic monitoring and control is in progress.This paper proposes the image processig algorithms to wide area detection system characteristics such as road estimation and vehicle detection.
