摘要
新加坡的双语教育具有显著的民族性和经济性。该政策的实施主要是基于民族团结和经济发展的双重考量,其旨在保障新加坡人不丧失自身的文化价值和身份认同的同时,又能使新加坡的经济在世界上立足。实践证明,新加坡的双语教育不仅促进了多元文化的共存和多民族的和睦共处,而且推动了该国的经济发展,双语教育的双重性得到了积极融合和有效发挥。
ingapore＇s bilingual education has distinctive nationalism and economical efficiency.The im-plementation of the policy is mainly responded to the dual needs of national unity and economic development.Sin-gapore＇s bilingual education aimed at protection of Singapore＇s economy to gain a foothold in the world,while with-out losing their own cultural values and identity.It has been proved that it not only promoted the multi-cultural coexistence and multi-ethnic harmonious coexistence,but also promoted economic development of Singapore.Its dual nature has been positively merged together and effectively carried out.
