从分类法和主题法的异同入手，着重分析了分类主题一体化理论的可能性、必要性和优越性。
The difference between the classification and theme is analyzed with emphasis on the possibility,necessity and advantages of the theory of the integration of classification and theme.The situation in China is also introduced briefly.
