摘要
将有机化蒙脱土(OMMT)和引发剂分散在苯乙烯(St)单体中混合均匀后一步法浇铸成型,得到聚苯乙烯(PS)/OMMT复合材料。研究了复合材料的结构和燃烧行为。结果表明,用原位本体聚合法得到的PS/OMMT复合材料为插层型纳米复合材料,引入OMMT可以显著降低PS的热释放速率、质量损失速率和生烟速率,增加PS的氧指数和燃烧残余物数量。随着OMMT用量增加,复合材料的阻燃性和抑烟性显著改善。
The PS/OMMT composites were prepared by one step cast-molding with even dispersion of OMMT, initiator and styrene (St) monomer. The structure and fire performance of the PS/OMMT composites were studied. The results show that the PS/OMMT composites prepared by in-situ bulk polymerization are intercalated nanocomposites. The introduction of OMMT can decrease the heat release rate, mass loss rate and smoke production rate of PS dramatically, accompanied by much increased oxygen index and combustion residue amount. With the increase of OMMT loading, the fire retardancy and smoke suppression of the PS/OMMT composites improve remarkably.
