摘要
如果从荒诞的视角考察,正是由于"存在"和"本质"的分离,《第二十二条军规》中的众多人物才出现了所谓的"道德疯狂",他们都是荒诞世界的受害者。因此,对小说和其中的人物草率地进行"不道德"的定性是失之偏颇的。在小说中这场有关道德的战争中,小说的主人公尤索林,不仅不是传统观点中反英雄式的小人物,虽然势单力薄却英勇无畏地站在了正义的一方。
Even though most critics believe Catch-22 is absurd and therefore immoral,since,viewed from the absurd separation between ＂existence＂ and ＂essence＂,those characters are also victims of absurdity,suffering from the so-called ＂moral insanity＂,it＇s too easy to define the novel and those characters as ＂immoral＂.Furthermore,quite opposite from the traditional view that Yossarian is an anti-hero,this paperbelieves that he is the very person,though incommensurate to his counterpart,to fight against the absurd world.
