摘要
器物是经过人类加工的一种物质形态,在某种意义上,"器物"必然和"非物"一起形成二重组合。在资本主义科技和工业复制时代到来之后,乡村手工业作坊及其技术开始湮灭,旧式工匠带着祖传的技能相继谢世,老式器物向人的日常生活告别。"世博会"被"发明"出来之后,其最大价值就在于,它是新器物爆炸的主要策源地,导致新行业——现代零售业及其大批零售商店的兴起。而高效的工业复制能力,成为器物市场兴旺的强大后盾。近代历史上,中国人迅速接纳了来自西方世博会的各种新奇物品,这是器物及其日常生活方式的伟大革命。世博会与非物质文化遗产的复杂纠缠,向中国公众提供了前所未有的学堂。器物发达国家的参与,它们卓越的器物与技术、优秀创意及叙事、严密的会展管理水平,启动了中国人的文化智力。
Utensil is a material form which has been processed by the human being.In some way, utensil must be the combination of the non-material.After the stage of technological and industrial duplication of capitalism,countryside workshop and its skill are diminishing,artisan with traditional skills die away off together with their workmanship,old-fashioned utensils make their farewell to our daily life.The greatest value of the Expo lies in that it is the original place for the new utensils.The rising of modern retail trade—a new industry—and large scale of retail shops and efficient duplication capability has become the strong supporter for the utensil market. In modern history,Chinese received the novel things of various kinds from the western Expo,which is great revolution for both utensils and our daily life.The combination of the Expo and non-material cultural heritage provides a unprecedented class for the Chinese.The excellent utensils and their management,the outstanding originality and its narration and the rigorous management of the exhibitions from the developed countries stir up the intelligence of the Chinese.
