摘要
刘开为桐城派中后期散文家中的代表性人物之一,对于他的生卒情况,研究者多依据方宗诚或姚元之之说加以推算,将其享年定为四十一岁或者四十岁。根据刘开本人的行踪自述及其友人诗文中的相关记载,可知刘开乃生于乾隆五十四年,其享年实为三十六岁。
This paper is an attempt to determine the life span of Liu Kai.Researchers tend to believe that he was born in the 49th year during Emperor Qianlong＇s reign and died in the fourth year during Emperor Daoguang＇s reign by estimation on the base of Fang Zongcheng＇s words.However,according to Liu Kai＇s self introductions in his articles and clues from the literary works of his friends,the present author finds out that he was actually born in the 54th year during Emperor Qianlong＇s reign,and that he died at the age of 36 instead of 41,as noted by Fang Zongcheng.
