The use of harmonic scalpel in open thyroid surgery

摘要 目的评价超声刀在开放甲状腺手术的安全性及可行性。方法比较、分析使用超声刀手术的病人组(n=38)、传统手术的病人组(n=42)的临床资料。结果两组患者在性别、年龄、手术方式以及肿瘤大小方面差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。在相同术式中,超声刀组的手术时间、术中出血量和术后引流量均少于传统手术组(P<0.05);两组的手术并发症差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论用超声刀行开放甲状腺手术是安全的和可行的,要优于传统甲状腺手术方法。 Objective To evaluate the safety and feasibility of harmonic scalpel in open thyroid surgery. Methods The clinical data of the harmonic scalpel group ( n = 38) and conventional hemostasis group( n = 42) were analyzed and compared retrospectively , Results There were no significant differences on the baseline between the two groups ( P 〉 0.05). But it was found that the operative time, intraoperative bleeding volume and postoperative drainage volume in harmonic scalpel group were significantly lower than conventional hemostasis group ( P 〈 0.05). The surgical complications showed no significant difference between the two groups. Conclusions The use of harmonic scalpel for the open thyroid surgery is safe and feasible, and it provides significant advantages over conventional hemostasis in open thyroid surgery.
