摘要
采用定量测量方法,对比分析学习者不同水平英语演讲语篇在主位类型和主位推进模式选择方面所体现的特征。从整体来看,不同水平演讲者在主位结构选择上呈现相似特征;统计分析发现,低水平演讲者与高水平演讲者相比,更多选择复项主位(主要是其语篇主位)以及集中型和并列型两种推进模式来构建语篇,使其语篇显得不够正式且单调乏味,影响其语篇整体质量。
By adopting of quantitative analysis,a comparative analysis is conducted to investigate the features of thematic choices and thematic progression patterns manifested in advanced-level and lower-level learner English speeches.On the whole,the two groups of speakers show similar features in thematic structure,but further statistical analysis indicates that lower-level speakers tend to employ more multiple Themes(mainly textual ones)and more concentrated and parallel thematic progression patterns than their advanced-level counterparts,which damages the formality and liveliness,and hence the overall quality of their speeches.
