摘要
通信技术与互联网技术的发展与融合,手机的高普及率,使图书馆开展手机服务成为了可能。文章通过对我国31家公共图书馆手机服务的调研,在分析国内公共图书馆手机服务现状的基础上,探讨了公共图书馆提供手机服务的必要性和主要方式,并对进一步提高公共图书馆手机服务的质量提出了建议。
The combination of telecommunication technology and internet capacity,as well as increasing popularity of mobile phones have made it possible for public libraries to offer mobile phone-based services（MPS）.On the basis of a survey of current MPS in China＇s 31 public libraries,this paper summarizes the present situation of MPS in China＇s major public libraries and discusses the necessity and service modes of MPS.What＇s more,this paper also makes further proposal on improving the quality of MPS.
