摘要
基于中美环境规制的差异及近年来中美商品贸易持续顺差的现状,利用实证分析研究了环境规制对中美贸易产生的影响。研究结果表明,中美环境规制指数与进出口指数存在比较稳定的相关性。美国环境规制的相对严格化使得中国污染密集型行业生产的产品在中美贸易顺差中扮演了重要角色,从而使我国承担了更多的环境成本。
Based on the differences in environmental regulations between China and U.S.,and the status of constant surplus in Sino-U.S.merchandise trade,this article makes an empirical analysis on the trade effect of environmental regulations.The result indicates that Sino-U.S.environmental regulation index is stably co-related with the index of import and export.The relative strict environmental regulations in U.S.lead to an important role of the product made by Chinese pollution intensive industry in Sino-U.S.trade surplus,therefore forcing China to undertake higher environmental cost.
