摘要
在深入分析研究传统解析方法、模拟方法及测量方法的基础上,提出了一种基于模拟技术与测量技术的混合性能评测方法,其基本思想是:通过人工生成的模拟负载来对客观存在的网络传输子系统进行直接的评测.重点论述了它的网络性能评价模型、测量方法、评价算法.简要介绍了它的系统实现.实践表明,该方法能充分发挥传统的模拟技术应用广泛、精度高以及测量技术的真实、可靠、适应性好等优点,同时又可克服模拟技术成本高、适应性差以及测量技术灵活性差、费时费力等缺点.
With the rapid development and prevalence of computer network,a method of measuring and evaluating network systems' performance is needed so as to make network run healthily and even improve its level of service and administration.After thorough study of the traditional methods,i.e. resolution,simulating and measuring, this paper presents a mixed method based on both simulating and measuring. The main idea is to measure and evaluate the existing network using a simulating load produced artificially. The authors argue in detail with the evaluating model, measuring methods and evaluating algorithms of this method, then briefly introduce its implementation. The results of experiment show that this method inherits the traditional advantages of not only the simulating method, i.e. wide application and high accuracy,but also the measuring method, i.e. verity, reliability and adaptability.Furthermore,it avoids their flaws, such as inelasticity,high costing of the former and poor flexibility,high expenditure of the latter.
