摘要
泰州学派是以自然为宗的,王襞继承了王艮自然人性论的思想,主张人性天然具足,所以要保持人性本身的纯粹完美,反对刻意修养、在人性上着力。王襞把"自然"与"中"统一起来,并把"致中和"看着是"顺自然"的重要手段,要求人们在心理和行为上保持"中和"状态。在自然人性的理念和"中"的思想指导下,王襞又大倡简易之道和日用之学,认为平常愈本色,希望人们注重在"日用"和"即事"中学习。
