摘要
本文比较了两种不同类型的多通道线性相位完全重构滤波器阵列在图像编码中应用。由于图像的绝大部分能量集中于低频端,我们发现低频端滤波器的长度大于高频端滤波器长度的线性相位完全重构滤波器阵列比各个通道滤波器长度相同的滤波器阵列有较好的编码效果。
In this paper, we compare the coding performance of two different types of multi-channel linear-phase perfect-reconstruction filter banks. Because the energy in an image is concentrated in the low frequency domain, we observe that filter banks with longer length filters in the low frequency part and shorter length filters in the high frequency part outperform filter banks with equal length filters in image compression.
