摘要 Infection of hepatitis B virus (HBV) is ubiquitous although the prevalence of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) varies considerably worldwide. Persistent HBV infection may lead to severe sequelae such as cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. Thus, clarification of the mechanism of susceptibility to persistent HBV infection would be valuable for the prevention and treatment of chronic hepatitis B.
