摘要
历史上湖北地区聚集了数量众多的移民,移民在短期内改变了湖北的人口状况,提供了农业开发所需要的劳动力,促进了新土地的开发及土地的恢复性垦殖,对农作物的引进、耕作技术的提高也起到了一定的促进作用。
Hubei gathered a large number of immigrants in ancient time.The immigrants changed the population situation of Hubei in a short time,provided the labor which were needed by agricultural development,promoted new land reclamation,introduced some crops and improved farming technology.
