摘要
阅读通常有两种基于不同目标的思维模式:提炼式阅读与审美阅读。前者通过灵活运用各种阅读技巧,以尽快获取信息为目标;后者通常不受时间与空间的限制,注重阅读过程,在满足精神需要过程中获得智慧。然而,任何单一阅读模式都无法独立承担提高学生英语阅读能力的重任。只有将两者有机地结合,才能有效提高学生的英语阅读能力。
Reading activities can generally fall into two models by their goals: efferent reading and aesthetic reading.The former is aimed at acquiring information as quickly as possible by flexibly employing various reading skills while the latter focuses on the pleasure taken during the reading process since it is not subject to time and space and readers can be wiser while they are spiritually fulfilled.However,neither of the two models alone can assume the mission of improving students' English reading competence.It is beyond question that only when the two models are integrated in reading activities can the EL students' reading competence be enhanced.
