摘要
我国钢铁产业的粗放型增长特征决定了产业整体技术创新能力不高，突出表现在以下三个方面：产品结构落后、工艺技术装备落后、研发投入严重不足。当前制约我国钢铁产业技术创新能力和竞争力提升的重要原因是产业集中度低、规模经济性差。通过产业整合，提高产业集中度、实现规模经济是推动钢铁产业提升技术创新能力的理性而现实的选择。
The characteristic of extensive growth in domestic steel industry have decided that the overall ability of technological innovation is not high. The prominent feature is shown in the following three aspects： undeveloped producing structure, outdated technology and equipment, the seriously insufficient R＆D investments. Nowadays, the low industrial concentration and economical scale are important reasons which restrict the technological innovation ability and competition capacity of domestic steel industry. The industrial integration, improvement of the industrial concentration and economical scale expansion will be a rational and realistic choice to improve the capacity of technological innovation of steel industry.
