The achievement of the first Kuomintang-Communist cooperation marked by the reorganization of Kuomintang strongly pushed forward the Chinese revolution. The researchers commonly considered that the cooperation was forced by the Soviet Russia (the Communist International). Kuomintang and Communist Party only had the chances to choose whether to participate passively (Chinese Communist Party did not even have the right to choose). But in fact, the Kuomintang-Communist Cooperation strived by the three participators, the Soviet Russia (the communist internation- al), Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China, to a great extent, were based on the changing situation at that time and their own standpoints and benefits.
