摘要
沉默美学是桑塔格对她形式美学的一种延伸和"阐释",它主要探讨的是艺术作品的产生以及和观者关系的问题,是关于现代艺术自身内部的局限性。当代艺术的反艺术冲动促使艺术家希望超越或消灭自身,因此以沉默、空白和简约的理念让观者以更直接的感性体验看视和倾听艺术的真谛。沉默美学所倡导的是"彻底关注"原则,其非透明性为阐释的话语开辟了无穷的可能性,然而这种消解一切意义的非理性体验也不免暴露出明显的神秘主义色彩。
Aesthetics of Silence is a part of Susan Sontag＇s formalistic theory,which mainly explores the production of artistic work and the relations between art and its readers.It also deals with the limitation of modern art.As the anti-art urge in modern artists prompts them to topple or transcend themselves,they help audience to look at art intuitively by using silence,blanks and sketchy approaches.This theory advocates the principle of ＂total experience＂ and its obscurity opens up a variety of interpretations.Nonetheless,this irrational experience which aims at annihilating all meanings may result in mysticism.
