摘要
在经济水平飞速增长的今天,人们越来越认识到环境对经济增长的基础性制约作用,并开始关注经济增长与环境质量的互动关系,环境库兹涅茨(EKC)曲线就是其中的重要经验成果之一。昆明市是我国以丰富自然资源和优美环境著称的城市,但是在其经济发展的过程中也开始出现较为紧迫的环境问题。通过对昆明市经济发展现状和环境质量的EKC曲线拟合研究,发现当前昆明市并没有形成明显的EKC曲线,人口密度的增加比经济增长给环境带来的压力更为显著,环境质量与经济增长的良性互动的形成仍需长期努力。
With the rapid development of today＇s economy, people become increasing aware of the restraint of environment on economic growth and are getting more and more concerned about the interaction between them. Environmental Kuznets Curve has been the major achievement made in the above research. Kunming, a city known for its rich resources and beautiful landscape, also faces very urgent environmental problems. This paper, by analyzing the relationship between Kunming＇s economic growth and industrial pollution with the theory of Environmental Kuznets Curve, discovers that instead Of the U-shaped relationship, there exists a N-shaped curve. Furthermore, it reveals the most important factor contributing to the problem is its population growth instead of economic growth. Hence, it takes a long-term effort to form a virtuous interaction between the environmental quality and economic growth.
