摘要
照应关系是各种自然语言中都存在的一种很普遍的现象,其中以代词的照应关系最为典型。单数代词有的看似逻辑中的个体常项,有的看似个体变项,但对有些句子中的代词来说这两种解释都有缺陷。对代词进行解释无非是要准确地找出其先行语,DRT首先从动态的角度给出了刻画方式,不过DRT完全不考虑话语的融贯性问题,而事实却是：不同的语句序列在融贯性上是有很大差异的。SDRT由于引入了修辞结构,并在修辞结构的基础上定义了融贯性最大化原则,因而不仅能给出话语的逻辑形式,还能对话语的融贯程度作出判定,并依据融贯程度的不同,找出融贯性最强的话语。话语的融贯程度不同,其清晰程度就不同,这就决定了SDRT比DRT有更强的解释力。
Anaphora is a common phenomenon in all sorts of natural languages,where the most typical is pronominal anaphora.Some singular pronouns look like logical constants,while others look like individual variables,but for the pronouns in some sentences the two explanations have flaws.To explain pronouns is nothing but to accurately identify their antecedents.DRT shows the methods of representation dynamically,but it overlooks the coherence of discourses.The fact is that those sentences with different sequence have different degrees of coherence.SDRT introduces rhetorical structures in logical forms,and defines the principle of maximizing discourse coherence on the basis of rhetorical structures.So it can not only describe the logical forms of discourses,but also measure the degree of coherence,and find out the most coherent discourse.Different degrees of coherence will lead to different degrees of clarity,therefore,it can be concluded that SDRT is more explanatory than DRT.
