摘要
西向漂移是地球主磁场长期变化最重要的特点之一,任何一个成功的地磁场起源理论都把能否合理地解释西漂作为检验标准之一.本文简要回顾地磁场酉源研究的历史,对计算西源的各种方法和结果作了对比分析,对这些方法的物理依据、特点及局限性进行了讨论.对分离磁场漂移部分和形变部分的新途径进行了探讨,对解释西漂的物理模型也作了简要的评述,
The westward drift is one or the most important features in the main magnetic field orthe Earth. Any theory about the geomagnetic field origin should plausibly explain this feature. In this paper we briefly reviewed the history of researches on the westWard drift. Acomparative analysis is given on calculation methods of the westward drift. Then we discussed the physical background and charaCteristics of each method. A new scheme is proposed for separating the drift part and deformation part in the secular variation of the maingeomagnetic field.
