摘要
对外翻译行为的主要意图是在异文化中塑造出本文化的自我形象。这种翻译形式在大多数国家都得不到重视。但在中国,较长时间内,对外翻译一直是文化输出和对外宣传的重要手段。
This paper intends to conduct a relatively systematic research into the＂outward translation＂,or the translation out of the native language.This kind of translation aims at creating the self-image of the native culture in the other cultures.For a long time,the＂outward translation＂has played a far greater role in China than in many other countries.
