摘要
在为英国学人李高洁的苏东坡赋英译本所作的英文书评与英文序言中,钱锺书高度肯定了苏东坡赋的美学价值与历史地位。在他看来,苏东坡赋是“苏东坡最高艺术成就的体现”;他同时认为,苏东坡是“庾信之后最伟大的赋作者”。本文拟结合《管锥编》、《谈艺录》、《中书君诗初刊》等著述,对钱锺书高度推崇苏东坡赋的理据、对庾信赋的前后评价不一以及借用西洋音乐术语“速度”评论苏东坡赋等问题加以剖析。
In the preface and bookreview for Le Gros Clark's English versions of Su Tung- Po's Fu (prose-poems), Qian Zhongshu highly praised Su Tung-Po's prose-poems from aesthetic and historical perspectives. Qian claims that Su is by far the greatest fu-writer since Yii Xin and is supreme in prose-poetry although famed in all great arts. The paper tries to reveal the reasons why Qian highly praised Su Tung-Po's prose-poems, the disac- cord of his review on Yti Xin's art of prose-poetry and his interdisciplinary study on Su's prose-poetry by making use of musical term "tempo".
