摘要
陶门五柳又称为陶门柳,是陶渊明的象征。陶渊明是中国古代文人仰慕的文人,寄托了各朝文人的理想,陶门柳也具有了隐逸高洁的意义。然而这是误读,因为在陶渊明之前杨柳与隐逸没有关系,杨柳的象征意义是对生命长久、家业兴盛的祝愿。杨柳与陶渊明的祖先陶侃有着特别的关系,武昌柳是陶侃建立功勋和善于治军的标志。陶渊明借助五柳表达的意义应是建功立业、家业兴盛,而隐逸高洁是后人将陶渊明晚期的思想与生活赋予五柳的结果。陶渊明五柳本来是在宅边,而不是门边;五柳不是在彭泽县衙,而是在柴桑的布衣之居。空间位置的误读也为意义的误读提供了基础。误读既是后世文人的需要,也是清廉政治的需要。
The five willows beside TAO Yuan-ming＇s house,or simply put as TAO House Willows,are symbol of TAO Yuan-ming（about 365-427A.D.）,agreat literary man whom others admire in ancient China and who represents literati ＇s ideals afterwards.Therefore,TAO House Willows gains a meaning of nobility and unsulliedness by living in seclusion.However,this is a misreading,because there is no relationship between willows and secluded living;rather,it is a symbol for long life and family prosperity.In history,willows do have a special relation with TAO Yuan-ming＇s ancestor TAO Kan;that is,it is the token that TAO Kan sets up his military feats and his outstanding ability in directing military affairs.According,what TAO Yuan-ming takes symbolically from the five willows beside his house is the wish to constitute achievements and thrive family name and property;and the meaning of nobility and unsulliedness in secluded living is associated by later people with TAO＇s later life.The five willows are actually beside TAO＇s house,not beside his house gate ;they are not in Pengze County,but in Chaisang where TAO lives as a common citizen.It is apparent that the spatial mistake gives rise to the meaning misreading.Generally,misreading is the requirement of later people ;it is also the need of an honest and upright government.
